Head of Finance - Job Description
Eleven Sports Network is a newly formed media project which has offices in London, Poland, Belgium, Malaysia and Singapore. The newly formed global Eleven Sports Network is seeking Head of Finance to join Polish team based in Warsaw. There is an opportunity to grow with this role for the right candidate as the company expands.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the whole accounting system and procedures
- Prepare all kind of payments
- Responsible for book-keeping of invoices, bank statements, accruals and provisions, reconciliation of accounts and tax returns
- Oversee monthly processing of payroll and payments to employees, plus all staff expenses
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and business plans
- Play an active role in assisting management in the risk assessment process and embedding a risk management culture throughout the organisation
- Develop and execute the ESN taxation strategy
- Ensure returns for Corporation tax, VAT and other relevant taxes are submitted,
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, bankers and other parties
- Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the GM
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- At least 3 years professional experience in finance in media industry
- A multi-tasker with the skills to work in a fast moving business
- Set priorities, with keen analytic, organisation and problem solving skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and Polish
