Position Title: Senior Creative Manager, Warsaw

General Summary:
Be the inspirational and visionary leader of the Discovery Networks, Warsaw Creative Services team, overseeing and driving world class creative excellence and innovation to support the growth of the portfolio in Central Europe – within a pan CEEMEA context.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute an overall creative strategy for the lifestyle and factual channels – on air and off air – in order to build long and lasting consumer relationships and engagement, and take share from our competitors. Working closely with the Creative Director CEEMEA, and Channel Directors and Creative Managers.
• Oversee the production of compelling creative campaigns and reels to support and drive commercial growth strategy working closely with the Creative Director, Creative Managers and heads of Distribution and Ad Sales as necessary
• Develop and grow a consumer facing creative team – including 2 Creative managers - that is envied by competitors and regularly wins awards
• As a the creative leader in the organization, bring best-in-class ideas and vision that inspire creativity and drive quality across the whole group
• Work closely with the Creative Director and Digital Director and local digital team to develop and execute compelling digital marketing.
• Work closely with Senior Production Manger CEEMEA, London Creative Services and Creative Director to drive synchronization, joined up thinking and sharing of best practices in order to maximize efficiencies
• Build and nurture close relationships with international peers, looking to share best practice
• Work with the Warsaw media planning team to ensure air time usage, and production plans, are most efficient and effective and consistent with CEEMEA synchronization strategy
• Ensure an integrated approach with all marketing, ad sales and creative functions, including
– On air promotions
– Continuity
– Off-air artwork
– Digital
– Off air projects as briefed by the Channel team
• Consult with the research teams to ensure that activities are based on consumer insights an market realities
Requirements:
• Fluent English speaker a must
• 5-7 years experience in a creative TV broadcast environment or creative agency, including managerial experience
• International experience an advantage
• Excellent team management and creative skillset
• Ability to develop a strategic approach to creative activities in order to achieve objectives
• Ability to manage multiple projects, across functions, and across diverse territories
Metrics:
• 2 direct reports
• Responsible for 8 brands/feeds, across 4 countries
• Supporting a budget of $1M
• Ability to exercise judgement in prioritising projects against resource limitations and department goals
• Ability to exercise diplomacy and manage a matrixed-environment to get buy-in and support across to meet channel goals
