Localisation Operations Supervisor

The Walt Disney Company Polska, Localisation CEE group, is seeking a full time maternity leave substitute for the post of Operations Supervisor responsible for Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm content in Central and Eastern Europe. The duration of employment is approximately 18 months.

In this position you will be responsible for the operations side of the localization process (mainly dubbing, but also occasionally subtitles and voice over) for theatrical, home entertainment, digital, TV, interactive and consumer product markets in Central and Eastern Europe. This includes handling work orders, overseeing materials flow and distribution, ensuring timely delivery of the localized product and all necessary documentation such as metadata, dubbing credits, mix reports, etc. The job also involves a number of finance-related tasks, e.g. issuing purchase orders and goods receipts as well as providing quarterly financial reports.

Experience and Qualifications

• University degree

• At least two years’ experience in film production, post production or dubbing operations with a working knowledge of typical industry workflows

• Experience in managing complex processes in a changing environment, often under severe time pressure
  
  

Skills Required

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with a positive and proactive attitude

• Ability to work in a team

• Fluency in English (both written & spoken)

• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment without supervision

• Flexibility and ability to react quickly to changes and solve problems as soon as they arise
