Music Searcher & Licensing Coordinator for Upright Music Poland
Upright Music is looking for a highly skilled, structured, creative minded and dedicated Music Searcher & Licensing Coordinator to be a part of our amazing team.
Upright Music is a leading independent music company specialized in providing music for all kinds of audiovisual productions and film produced within the Nordics, the Baltics and Poland. We are based in Copenhagen and also have an office in Warsaw.
The job
The main tasks are to be a part of our music research and licensing team doing music researches for our clients and handling client projects delivering great music solutions to our clients within the Polish TV, advertising, digital, documentary and film industry.
The job also includes building client relations and facilitating client meeting and pitches, as well as administrative tasks including music categorization and tagging.
Primary tasks
- Music searches for clients and delivering great solutions on time
- Client relations – develop and strengthen existing client relations
- Ongoing focus on the increase of sales and closing deals
- Categorization and tagging of music repertoire
- Adhoc - various administrative tasks related to sales, promotion and music licensing

What you bring
- Extensive and thorough music knowledge and passion for music (musical education is of advantage)
- Structured, service-minded, independent, solution oriented and responsible
- Self-motivated, self-driven with the ability to make things happen
- Honest, loyal and transparent team-player
- Excellent communication skills in Polish as well as English (Both verbally and in writing)
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office (particularly Word / Outlook / Excel)
- Experience from the Polish TV, advertising, digital, documentary and film industry and/or music business is of advantage

We are highly motivated by providing excellent service to our clients and finding great musical solutions for every production we are involved in.
You will join a team of 30+ people where 4 of our Colleagues are currently working from our office in Warsaw. We plan to further expand our team in Poland in the forthcoming period.
The role is based in our wonderful office space in the heart of Warsaw and includes frequent trips to the main office in Copenhagen.
