Trainee in Programing Department
Supporting role for the Programming Team, mainly on the field of:
- Editorial and operational coordination of VOD products processes (FOX Play, NatGeo Play and extensions) and liaising with affiliate VOD services.
- Preparation and organization of programming information for the team purposes
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of internal nonlinear (VOD) workflows in close cooperation with different departments: Programming, Operations/IT, Marketing, Affiliate, Digital.
- Based on regular editorial programming committees: creation, updating and quality check of respective VOD schedules/forms and their content (incl. synopsis, titles etc.) for FNG Play products and delivery for affiliate VOD platforms
- Selection and preparation (re-formatting) of graphics/posters for VOD assets
- Regular quality check of materials within FNG Play products and affiliate VOD platforms, reporting and managing bugs, delays, deficiencies etc.
- Providing support to other departments in creating reports on actual usage of VOD assets within FNG Play products and affiliate VOD platforms
- Coordination of work with external agency on localizing programme titles and synopsis for programming purposes.
- Coordinating and organizing programming materials (screeners, photos, marketing kits) from internal and external (distributors) partners for programming purposes, but also for other departments.
Experience for the role:
Essential
- Coordination skills.
- Practical approach to problem solving.
- Strong team player with collaborative attitude and good communication skills. Ability to work across departments.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work effectively and under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of operational software: good command of Excel and Power Point.
- Good command of English in verbal and written.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Polish TV market, especially VOD business.
- Basic level of Photoshop
- Ability to work across departments.
